It took me a little while to find a path through the undergrowth, but I think I’ve done it. I joined a Druid Order called Ar nDraiocht Fein (there are a few accent marks in there I haven’t gotten down yet) and am starting their Dedicant study program.
I find that a structured path works much better for me than just picking through what’s available and coming up with my own system. It still isn’t as structured as I would like– there’s no “do this first, then that” stated outright, but I’ve read through the manual once and I think I can kind of pick out a general direction to head in.
I’d love to meet other ADF Dedicants, and if you have any suggestions or tips, I’m all ears!
Edit: The fact that I have to edit this clearly demonstrates what I intended to write about when I started this post, which is that I will be fighting my ADHD every step of the way in the process, both in remembering to do the thing and in pushing past the wall of executive dysfunction to actually get it done. >.>
